superposition \ true ch’ien

—all paths taken

In this essay, I break down Lindy Lee's series of artworks titled 'true ch’ien'. In doing so I work through ideas choices and consequences: How we are connected and defined by the choices we make as much as we are connected to the choices we didn't make. That we are the totality of the choices we made that brought us here and the choices we could have made that wouldn't bring us here. It's a weird and fun piece of writing I wrote in uni and I really love it. It's about a ten minute read if you're down for it.
