A folio, 2023
The folio assembled at the end of the Masters — a professional bio, the skills map, work excerpts, and a poem.
The folio I put together at the end of the Masters. It’s a container rather than a piece of work in its own right — a professional bio, a map of the skill set, and excerpts from things that now live in this archive as their own pages.
What’s in it:
- A professional bio and skills map. The map is also on the about page; it branches from experience design and immersive design out into design thinking, user research, narrative design, sensemaking and prototyping.
- The HIV and PrEP work — see the wicked problem of HIV prevention and the PrEP subsidy model.
- The sun stealer narrative arch — the full game design document is here.
- An excerpt from superposition \ true ch’ien — the whole essay is here.
- A poem called Salt. This is the only thing in the folio that doesn’t appear anywhere else on the site. It’s about kindness arriving where you expected dread — a horror-film build-up that resolves into someone’s arms rather than a knife.
Since most of it now has a page of its own, treat this as a snapshot of how things looked in 2023 rather than the place to start.
